Reflection on epistemology is one of the inseparable aspects of philosophy. A major part of philosophical thinking attempts has been made to answer questions such as what are the characteristics of true wisdom? How is the knowledge obtained? What is the nature of the knowledge? The quality of true knowledge and the limits of human knowledge ... etc. issues in the field of the app are discussed. Philosophers attracted attention in this regard; in classical Greek philosophy, Plato can be considered a great example of discussion in this field, which is discussed in this research. Although he has not written a specific book on this subject, in most of his dialogues he has raised this issue and can be discussed it. This has led to the use of a historical analytical method in this study and to magnify the passage of the texts of this philosopher and provide an epistemological analysis. To achieve this goal, the research is divided into four chapters and one conclusion. In the first chapter, based on Plato’s way of thinking, first, an attempt is made to critique his method to express, how it questions the empirical agent and sophistical thinking. The alternative to empirical knowledge is then stated in the second chapter, which is the foundation of knowledge, and what is the role of dialectics in it? In the third chapter, the nature of knowledge and how the process of remembering knowledge is stated. In the fourth chapter and the end, the properties of true wisdom and knowledge we have expressed. After that, the conclusion has been reached.
