The questionnaires and Implicit Association Test were used to investigate the explicit and implicit Math-gender stereotypes of Chinese college students, which refers to the implicit notion that men are better at mathematics than women and women are better at reading than men. It was found that there was no explicit Math-gender stereotype overall, but there was clearly an implicit Math-gender stereotype.
