In September 2020, General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly put forward to achieve “carbon peak” in 2030 and “carbon neutrality” in 2060. In recent years, he has proposed various policy guidelines to promote the realization of the goal. Based on the background of the “double carbon” goal, this paper explores the current situation of the development of green finance in commercial banks. Based on the SWOT analysis of commercial banks, it points out the opportunities and threats of the external environment, the advantages and disadvantages of the internal development of banks, and puts forward corresponding suggestions.
