Foreign trade can have a significant and far-reaching impact on a country's economic development. By actively participating in international trade, it is possible to obtain scarce domestic resources, technology, equipment and foreign exchange funds, which all contribute to the development of the domestic economy. In the process of economic globalization, how to participate in international trade and reduce negative impacts is an important issue. After more than 30 years of development, our country's foreign trade has made extraordinary achievements, but we still have to keep a clear head and recognize the current situation and challenges facing our country. This paper analyzes the following challenges faced by our country's foreign trade: international financial crisis, trade protectionism, RMB appreciation, big data background, "One Belt, One Road" strategy and the COVID-19 epidemic, and proposes countermeasures, hoping to promote the healthy and stable development of my country's foreign trade.
