The article describes the authors' vision of what conceptual approaches can be for the introduction of national electronic money and reforming the national monetary system in Kazakhstan, the concept of electronic money in the Republic of Kazakhstan is considered. The legal nature of money is investigated, the concept of money as objects of civil rights is given and attention is drawn to the infrastructure of monetary circulation. The analysis of the activities of the National Bank of Kazakhstan on the creation of the creation of the national payment system of Kazakhstan is given.
