Mucocele of the appendix is usually managed by open surgery. We present a case of appendiceal mucocele safely managed by laparoscopic appendectomy. As there is a risk of malignancy in the mucocele, we advocate the use of an endobag to retrieve the specimen. [Arch Clin Exp Surg 2013; 2(4.000): 267-269
