Azerbaijan-Russia relations (1992-2016)

Relations with our northern neighbor Russia is important for Azerbaijan foreign policy. Despite problems and difficulties, bilateral relations has always existed and developed. That`s why, we should emphasize the challenges and future development trends of bilateral relations between the years of independence and modern era. Thus, after the restoration of independence, Azerbaijan-Russia relations` problems, past of relations and views of future are noted in this article.
