The article is devoted to the linguistic and etymological analysis of the ethnonyms in the “Kitabi-Dada Gorgud” epos. It is known that ethnonyms as a branch of onomastics bear in themselves impormation on the ancient history, customs and traditions of the people. From this point of view, the analysis of the ethnonym in “Kitabi-Dada Gorgud” is important. In the article, the author tries to analyse etymologically the ethnonyms registered in the epos.
