Heydar Aliyev's contribution to the development of cultural relations with the countries of the Middle East in the 1970’s

This article reviews the contribution of Heydar Aliyev to the cultural development of the Azerbaijan SSR in such a difficult historical period when Azerbaijan was virtually deprived of the right to build independent relations with foreign countries. It is no secret that Heydar Aliyev had friendly relations personally with many leaders of Middle Eastern countries. This played a big role in building cultural relations with the countries of this region. The article also covers all areas of development of cultural relations with these countries.
