This article concerns the image of the parental role in adolescents, which is formed as a result of mutual relationships between adolescents and parents. The main point is the characteristic features of their age, difficulties and problems in their relationship with parents. The main feature of the coming age is considered as an attempt to reach maturity. An attempt to become an adult is regarded as avoiding parental protection and control, as well as the desire to be independent. The teenager wants to become an adult, but at the same time he (she) can not assert himself (herself). The physiological, emotional, psychological and social factors contributing to the formative value systems are considered and maintained at the center of discussion. Relationship problems between parents and adolescents remain relevant.
