Toponyms contain various information. They deal with the history, culture, character and settlement in the certain area of the nation. Each toponym possesses a specific meaning and its understanding is connected with different associations. The teaching, patriotic and educative significance of the toponyms carries out a universal character. In this article the linguacognitive influence of the topoconcepts is studied, the cognitive indications are revealed and the concept zones which are important for the speakers of the language are determined.
