Using images as a linguistical framework, the article seeks to increase the awareness of teachers to the necessity of recovering and teaching children mutual respect among the different: natives, blacks, women, children, mentally and physically challenged ones, and many others. In order to do so; it establishes the alterity as the goal to be reached in education and schools, whose main challenge is to understand the teaching-learning relation as a cultural process based on a permanent exchange among the different subjects
