This work has as objective to disclose the historical passageof the Photo Clubs in Bahia. The actions initiated for the Association of Amateur Photographers of Bahia, in the end of years 1950, and later the creation of the Cine Photo Club of Bahia, in the decade of 1960. These organizations had been of basic importance for the spreading and improvement of the photograph. Also, the accomplishment of first Hall of Photographic Art of Bahia with the contribution of the Museum of Art Modern of Bahia, considerable landmark in favor of the artistic photograph in the state.Este trabalho tem como objetivo revelar o percurso históricodo fotoclubismo na Bahia, das ações iniciadas pela Associação deFotógrafos Amadores da Bahia, no final dos anos 1950, e,posteriormente, a criação do Foto Cine Clube da Bahia, na décadade 1960. Essas organizações foram de fundamental importânciapara a divulgação e aprimoramento da fotografia. O artigo também trata da realização do Primeiro Salão de Arte Fotográfica da Bahia, organizado com a colaboração do Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia, que se transformou em um importante marco para a fotografia artística no estado
