The aim of this paper is to make some considerations about the connections between History and Cinema, realizing that this art film came to be seen as a cultural artifact that has its own history and a social context that surrounds it. We analyze briefly the Brazilian film movement, from the 1960s, known as "New Cinema", in which we will work its mains social and cultural aspects, pointing to the main artist of the movement that is the filmmaker Glauber Rocha. About this author, we emphasize some of its aesthetic and political influences that have contributed so much to its peculiar view of history and society, as for your art making
