O presente estudo visa investigar aspectos epidemiológicos e sorológicos da toxoplasmose em 503 bovinos de leite, oriundos de 17 do Norte do Estado do Paraná. As amostras foram submetidas ao teste de Imunofluorescência Indireta, resultando em 48,51% de soro-positivos (título maior ou igual a 1:64). Considerando estes resultados, observa-se a necessidade de se conhecerem as principais fontes de infecção e vias de transmissão do Toxoplasma gondii nesta espécie animal. The objective of this study was to investigate the epidemiological and serological aspects of toxoplasmosis in 503 dairy cattle in Londrina (North of Paraná), from 17 herd in the State of Paraná. The serum samples were submitted to the indirect fluorescence antibody test, resulting in 48,51% of serum-positives (titre greater or equal to 1:64). According to these results, it should be necessary to know the main source of infection and ways of Toxoplasma gondii transmission in dairy cattle.
