The article offers a general overview of the changes in education during a global pandemic. Particular attention is paid to the difference in the introduction of distance learning in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the difference between online and offline classes, the methods used by the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the positive aspects of the pandemic in the field of education and in the life of schoolchildren and youth are also considered.
