The paper describes the latest model of the F -type radiosonde receiver and recorder designed and constructed in the laboratories and workshops of the Meteorological Office at Poona. The receiver is of the conventional super-regenerative type. The original moving iron armature in the recorder has been replaced by a moving coil and the construction of this equipment has been described in detail.
