On the basis of field experiments inducted at Bangalore, the influence of selected weather parameters on the duration to and the height at the time of flowering in the case of ragi as been made. It has been found that the duration to flowering in the case of ragi is positively correlated with average temperatures and average evaporation. The height at the time of flowering does not have any significant correlation with the weather parameters.
