The paper gives the results of an analysis of the rainfall recorded in fifteen-minute intervals at Poona from the records of the Casella siphon raingauge during the years 1932.1943. The frequencies of intensity of rain, of the maximum intensities on rainy days and of the hours of occurrence of maximum intensities have been tabulated. The number of spells of rain on rainy days and the intervals between successive spells of ram have also been tabulated.
