La gestión gubernamental de las emociones en el Chile neoliberal. / Governmental Management of the Emotions on the Neoliberal Chile.

Lejos de ser el resultado de mecanismos instintivos e innatos, las emociones se presentan como fenómenos sociales construidos dentro de contextos culturalmente definidos. Dentro de estas claves de análisis, vamos a concentrarnos en los nexos existentes entre el plano emotivo y las contemporáneas prácticas gubernamentales. De esta forma, daremos cuenta de la existencia de unas técnicas de gobierno interesadas en intervenir en las conductas de las personas a través de la gestión de las emociones. Far from being the result of instinctive and innate mechanisms, the emotions appear as constructed social phenomena within culturally defined contexts. Within these keys of analysis, we are going to center in the existing links between the emotive level and the contemporary governmental practices. In this way, we will give account of the existence of techniques of government interested in intervening in the behavior of individuals through the management of the emotions.
