This study aims to examine the effect of self-efficacy on the learning independence of Christian Religious Education students at SMAN 1 Palangka Raya. Self efficacy is a self-belief or an assessment of one's own abilities. The method used in this research is quantitative. The data analysis technique uses simple regression to determine the effect of the self-efficacy variable on students' learning independence. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to students. The results of the study concluded that self-efficacy has a significant effect on learning independence, this is supported by data analysis and objective research on students of SMAN 1 Palangka Raya.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh self efficacy terhadap kemandirian belajar  Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa SMAN 1 Palangka Raya. Self efficacy merupakan keyakinan diri atau penilaian tentang kemampuan diri sendiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif. Teknik analisa data menggunakan regeresi sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel self efficacy terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa self efficacy memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemandirian belajar, hal ini didukung dengan analaisis data dan penelitian yang objektif kepada siswa SMAN 1 Palangka Raya.
