From March 16, 2020, all the educational institutions in Armenia, as conditioned with the epidemic, switched to the distance learning organization. Despite the fact that distance education has started to develop as a form of education since the 90s, the educational institutions of our republic have faced many problems, both technical and the choice of teaching methods. The article attempts to present the he general overview of distance education, problems and things to do in the conditions of the epidemic./2020 թվականի մարտի 16-ից, համավարակով պայմանավորված, Հայաստանի բոլոր կրթական հաստատությունները անցան դասընթացների կազմակերպման հեռավար ձևաչափին: Չնայած այն փաստին, որ հեռավար կրթությունը՝ որպես կրթության ձև, սկսել է զարգանալ դեռ 90-ականներից, մեր հանրապետության կրթական համակարգը կանգնեց բազմաթիվ թե՛ տեխնիկական խնդիրների և թե՛ դասավանդման մեթոդների ընտրության առջև: Հոդվածում փորձ է արվում ներկայացնել հեռավար կրթության ընդհանուր պատկերը, խնդիրներն ու անելիքները համավարակի պայմաններում։
