The remission of canonical censures. Historical development and current legislation
ABSTRACT: The article analyzes the historical-juridical evolution of the remission of censures in the canonical order from the first indications contained in the main medieval and modern sources, passing then to the discipline of the institution contained in the code of 1917 and in the code of 1983 to arrive, at the end, to the changes made by the recent constitution Pascite gregem Dei promulgated by pope Francis in may 2021.
