This article defines resistance and examines literal and terminological concepts of resistance with a critical point of view. In addition, the article discusses in detail, the types of condemnation (individual resistance, collective resistance), cases, scope and impact of resistance on the society. At the end the evolutionary stages of resistance and resistance as a literary term are examined and conclusions, are drawn.
