The theme that the author will discuss in this editorial article on which foods should be avoided in the acute process of infection by COVID-19, is not a topic much talked about in infectious diseases congresses and also in nutrition congresses, in which the author has participated, but this theme is very important for the knowledge of the doctors today, because it is essential to know how to know which foods the patient can ingest and which food the patient need to avoid, that can contribute to better evolution of the COVID-19 infection process.
