The epos "Alpamys Batyr" is a common Turkic heritage that has come down to us since ancient times. There are several options for epic options. The epos has long been the subject of comprehensive scientific research among domestic and foreign scientists. It was studied in comparative typological and genealogical aspects. This article discusses the Oguz version of the epic and the historical foundations of its occurrence.
