The article deals with the genre of the poem, published in the era of independence, in particular, the reflection of historical truth in the poems of K. Myrzaliev, N. Aituly, Zh. Bodeshuly, who made a special contribution to the genre of the poem, which became a kind of autographs of Kazakh literature. In the years of independence of our country were touched upon topics prohibited for approval under the Soviet regime, revealed the breadth of truth. In this monograph, the authors consider the latest scientific and philosophical concepts of the problem of consciousness. The theme of December, the problems of the earth, the state of the native language, as well as the course of actual problems occurring in society, are theoretically comprehended in the poems. With the help of the works of these poets, we see the expansion of the artistic horizon of the Kazakh poem.
