This study aims to analyze the effect of education personnel's understanding of the National Education System Act on teacher performance. This research was conducted at the Christian Education Institute, precisely at Solomon 3 Junior High School and at Pringsurat Catholic Elementary School, Temanggung, Central Java. The method used in this study is a quantitative correlation research method, where the sample in this study is the education staff in each of these schools, totaling 56 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, while the data analysis technique used normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test and Pearson Bivariate correlation test. The final results of this study are: the understanding of education personnel about the National Education System Act has a significant effect on teacher performance.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemahaman tenaga kependidikan tentang Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Lembaga Pendidikan Kristiani tepatnya di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Salomo 3 dan di Sekolah Dasar Katolik Pringsurat, Temanggung, Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, dimana sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah para tenaga kependidikan di masing-masing sekolah tersebut yang berjumlah 56 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang dipakai menggunakan angket, sedangkan tehnik analisis datanya menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linearitas dan uji korelasi Bivariat Pearson. Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah: pemahaman tenaga kependidikan tentang Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.
