B. F. Sknnner’s explanatory system is transformed throughout its construction. In the early years, Skinnerproposes that explanation is description functional relationships between directly observable events of theorganism with environment. The notion of selection by consequences, related proposition of operantbehavior, will have unfolding for assumptions related to the subject matter, the relationship betweensubject and object of knowledge, the concept of science and the procedures used for the production ofeffective scientific knowledge.
