The aim of the study the article highlights that the process of teaching mathematics to non-mathematics students is complicated by the limited time of the educational process, low motivation of their cognitive activity, psychological barriers of students, assessment and self-assessment of their academic achievements, lack of non-standard tasks. Proposing ways to solve these problems will create conditions for enhancing the cognitive activity of such students in the process of learning mathematics in conditions COVID-19.
