Various physic-chemical parameters such as ph, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), free CO2 are commonly used criteria for water quality assessment. It provides information about the overall health of the water bodies. Biodiversity of macro-invertebrates and physic-chemical water quality parameters of Juliva fishery and Moribeel wetland of Sivasagar district of Assam were assessed from different sampling sites monthly from April, 2017 to April, 2018. By studying macro-invertebrates diversity of the wetland as bioindicator, we have assessed the overall quality of these water bodies, mainly about their pollution status.
