Sheikh Saeed Hawwa was a high ranking scholar, a well known research scholar, broad minded thinker and stylish exegetical writer of Quran. He bears an important contribution in the interpretation and explanation of Islamic thinking. The academic field in which, he was degree holder in specialization divinity sciences. He had a profound and juristic look on the events and fields of knowledge. Throughout his life, he had special interest in writing and composing the Qur’an alongwith its teaching and explanation. In modern age, he occupied an important status among the scholars in the history of Syria. He was a master scholar in his words and actions. He had so deep association with divinity sciences that even inconvenient and unfavorable conditions of prison could not put him away to restrain in his Study. Such devotion and hard work can be done by only a person whose purpose is to achieve the successor of the day of Judgement instead of this temporary world’s few gains. This article describes the religious and scholarly effect of Sheikh Saeed Hawwa who is an Arabic thinker.
