Allah sent the Prophets (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them) to lead mankind out of disbelief, polytheism and misguidance, and to call them to Islam and guidance. To carry forward this struggle of humanity, the great scholars and leaders of this Muslim Ummah went ahead. Are there any commentators, narrators and biographers among them? One of these biographers is Imam Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Shami, (942 AH) was born in Salehiya, a town in Damascus, Syria and died in the town of Barquqiyah in Cairo.
