Mathematics plays an important role in human culture. The concept of mathematical thought and culture are meaningful to mathematical teaching. Ordinary differential equation (ODE) is an important part of college mathematics curriculum. Combined with some instance and experience during the teaching processing, this paper elaborates some mathematical thoughts and methods in the teaching and research of ODE, which is beneficial to the all-round development of college students.
