In the years 1601-1604, in the time of the governor Lope de Mendoza, several urban works aimed at fixing the streets and bringing drinking water to their sources, urban reforms that had already begun his predecessor Diego de Portugal. In this short period of time he will carry out an important improvement of the roads of his district with the construction of seven bridges over its plentiful rivers, works these last ones that we believe all of them were carried out by the architect Juan del Corral
