It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that the Editorial Board of the “Journal of Building and Roads Research” mourns one of its active and well respected members, the late Professor AbuBakr A. Wahab M. Salih, Professor of Civil Engineering, University ofKhartoum who passed away on Friday 25th September 2020, leaving behind him a space that can hardly be filled.
