This paper approaches the problem of sexual harassment as a manifestation of gender violence against women observed in all areas of society. Recently there have been multiple complaints of such attacks and many have come from university students. In this way, it is important to acknowledge that sexual harassment is a phenomenon present in university and academic spaces, even with the academic training that teachers and administrative staff possess, which is why it is perceived that, at a society level, violence against women persists and there is also a tolerance and a normalization of it.
