Distribution of heavy metal content in soils of Kyiv in 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2010 is studied. A comparative analysis of models of the distributions of heavy metals in soils was conducted. Found that the best was compositionally - lognormal model. The tendency of increase in areas with a high content of Zn and Mn during the study period is estimated. The areas exceeding critical limits abundances of Zn and Mn in soils increased levels of 8 and 77,6% in 2001 to 20,2 and 90,7% in 2010.
