The article dedicated to special features of geological structure and petroleum potential of Pripiat-Dniper-Donets-Karpinskiy rift, which extends into Manguslak territory. From petroleum point of view riftogenesis is positive factor, which creates in the basement and sedimentary rocks the system of fauls, which increases permeability.
