The author argued a new interpretation of previously known within the Baikal Ridge igneous rocks of the genesis controversial, invites the conclusion of their impact origin. The new structure is proposed that buried meteorite crater – Baikal astrobleme Riphean age (600 million years). The diameter of the crater at least 510 km, with external emissions – 810 km. Done with the assumption that-cause-effect relationship uniquely Baikal asteroid crash with a unique global Lapland glaciation of the same age – 600 million years.
