The study aims to define terrorism both linguistically arid terminological!}1, and to determine the different reasons behind the rising of the criminal terroristic phenomenonf and to clarify its negative results upon individuals and societies.
In additiont it elucidates the role of the Islamic education in confronting and curing this phenomenon by light on the role of some educational social religious, charitable, cultural, security organizations and the mass media.
The study concludes with recommendations
