Religion is a controversial concept.
Its controversialitly according to western sociologists is due to the different types of beliefs that are dispersed among people of the universe.
The concept, likewise, becomes more complicated under the serious attempts of Western scholars to treat religion as social fact.
Western sociologists likewise, tried to generalize their acknowledgment with Christianity to other types of religions.
Thus they restricted religion mainly in personal affairs.
Shortly this attempt is to scrutinize and criticize the concept of religion in the works of Augcst Cont.
