The problem of the study is that Sudan has a comparative advantage in the production and export of gum Arabic, but it has declined and this is due to the quantities exported in its initial form, which makes it vulnerable to price fluctuations and instability in the local market, in addition to its limited capabilities in global competition due to low quality, high cost and the instability of overall policies. The study aimed to identify the economics of production and export of gum Arabic in terms of productivity, volume of exports and global price. The study used the descriptive analytical approach. The study concluded several results, the most important of which is the existence of a direct statistically significant relationship between the volume of gum exports and the outcome of Sudanese gum Arabic exports, the existence of a direct statistically significant relationship between the global price of gum Arabic and the outcome of Sudanese gum Arabic exports, the absence of a statistically significant relationship between the production of gum Arabic And the outcome of Sudanese gum Arabic exports during the period (2000-2019). The study recommended paying attention to production areas and producers and overcoming the obstacles facing the production of gum Arabic in Sudan, the need to facilitate procedures for exporting gum Arabic and reducing taxes imposed on Sudanese gum Arabic exports.
