В статье на основе разноплановых источников воссоздается судьба одного из известных купеческих родов Енисейска - купцов Черноусовых, объявлявших капитал в конце 18 - 19 в. Приводятся сведения о представителях нескольких поколений этой династии, отражающие их родственные связи, хозяйственную деятельность, участие в органах местного городского самоуправления, церковно - приходской жизни, благотворительности. На примере конкретного семейства проиллюстрированы такие характерные для всего сибирского купечества в целом черты, как неустойчивое социальное положение купцов, упадок бизнеса вследствие дробления капитала, религиозное мировоззрение, активная общественная позиция. Based on various sources, the article recreates the fate of one of the famous merchant families of Yeniseisk - merchants Chernousovs, who declared capital from the late 18th till the late 19th centuries. The article provides information about representatives of several generations of this dynasty, reflecting their family ties, economic activities, participation in local self - government, parish life, and charity. On the example of a particular family, such features characteristic of the entire Siberian merchant class as the unstable social status of merchants, the decline of business due to the fragmentation of capital, religious worldview and an active social position are illustrated.
