The paper addresses a period of 10 years in terms of the evolution of the number and percentage of cesarean operations in total births and their impact on perinatal outcomes. The results of the study showed with certainty that the widening of indications for abdominal births with increasing their incidence contributes to improving indicators of perinatal mortality.
