The article addresses the obstacles planning on the brigade or battalion level within the military decision-making process. The reason for the research is the absence of specific procedures for obstacles planning in the military publications. Using logical research methods, planning problems related to obstacles planning were extracted from the overall planning process. Subsequently, these problems were arranged in a form that allows the commander's engineering adviser to provide expert recommendations and participate in the preparation of relevant documentation.
