This article addresses the development and survival of civilization in a global political context. Your attention to the author focuses on the problems of the current stage of globalization, the core of which has been made of the values of the West, and the concepts of the researchers there studied as a response to the “challenge” version of the neo-liberal globalization on the modalities for the further development of the world and Russia’s place in the new reality of the socio-political processes of the political world. The author defends the position of the “response” on the part of Russia to the modern challenges of the global world from the considerations of colored alternatives at the national level in the development of civilizational and political processes in the global space. Russia’s political development represents a constant overcoming of”challenges”. This is still relevant today. The multivariance of the ways of evolution of peoples and states is argued on the basis of the work of Russian researchers both at the beginning of the XX century and in the XXI century. The future of the world in the Twenty-First Century must provide for a new development strategy based on dialogism.
