The article outlines certain characteristics of pedagogy in the post-modern period; highlights the paradigm of the curriculum, which has established itself in the context of post-modern pedagogy as a model of raising the efficiency of the learning process; promotes a holistic, trans-disciplinary and functional-pragmatic approach towards learning; and argues in favor of reconfiguring the current learning process from the perspective of key competencies.
