The necessity of differentiated consideration of mass and moisture transfer in porous massif is shown on the basis of the difference in free and sorbed moisture properties. The curves of variation of maximum hygroscopic moist content of different rocks in relation to temperature are given. The concept of relative sorptional mass content is introduced, its relation to relative moisture content of air and also the possibility of its application in determination of mass transfer potential for mountain mass are shown.
