Hazrat Allama Shah Ahmed Noorani belonged to the family of first caliph, Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddiq R.A. His ancestors migrated from Arab and settled in Subcontinent in Meruth (U.P). He was a good speaker of Arabic, Persian, English and many languages. One of his biggest contributions was his constitutional struggle for the protection of one of the foremost belief of Muslims, Finality of Prophethood. In 7 September 1974, Shah Ahmed Noorani and his companions were successful in getting their resolution from the parliament. When General Musharraf took over the Government in October 1999 and suspended the 1973 constitution and replaced it with P.C.O., Shah Ahmed Noorani fought against the inclusion of Islamic laws in P.C.O. As a result of his efforts the Government agreed to do it. This paper is based on the analytical study of his contribution in the Tehrik-eTahafuz-e-Khatm-e-Nabuwat.
